Posting this map for a friend of mine. Tested it myself as well as contributed a portion of the game's textures and the spikes models. You'll be encountering those quite a bit in this map.

A good map for a group of people. The level is based off of and considered a tribute to the Cave Story+ game. Expect spikes, traps, lava pools, and bosses with high HP.

And death, lots and lots of death.

Warning: Not a game for players who are Pyros, Demomen, or people who uses laser weapons. This is a non-profit map made for the sole purpose of entertainment and mindless fun. It is not meant to offend or insult any existing material, licensed or other wise. Currently no displacement map as been added to the map due to size constraints.

Also, don't play this alone. It's hard as hell going solo.

I assure you, I'm not Quakeman. But if you have a problem with the person who designed the map or the map in general, we can discuss this.

Well, of all the games to make a map of...

So it's a gauntlet sort of thing, yeah? This site tends to deal more often in standard maps, and giving feedback to them, it's not just a map hosting site. That said, ignore tarry, he's a cock. :)

Ah, so posting a heavily modded map based off another game isn't a good place to put this? Alright, sorry about that.

Quakeman is banned for a reason. This "technically" isn't circumventing the ban, just providing a reminder of him that we necessarily don't want.

Is VVIS included in this map?

A VVIS? Sorry, I dunno what that is exactly.

It is a compiling option. Previous Quakeman maps were not compiled with VVIS, (Valve Visibility something something something or whatnot.) which lead to poor poor poor optimization.

Hm, good question. While I haven't encountered any technical problems with the game, I dunno if VVIS was used during the compiling. I'll let you know as soon as I can.
