fairly awful weapons. im not sure if it's a lack of effort or they are designing these weapons purposely to be bad and not change the way a class plays in a fun way (i.e. FLAME OF WAR).

valve actually made a 5cp map and it looks pretty good though maybe a bit flat at mid. i like the look of it.

Sounds like Foundry is going to be a single-stage, five-point attack/defend map. Which I approve of. Also heck yeah Mystery Science Theater 3000 reference.

EDIT: Oh wait, no, it's boring old 5CP after all. How many hundred of those do we have now?

The screenshot from foundry looks like it's symmetrical, it's most likely a standard 5cp map.

AS for the weapons, too many unknown factors at this time.

As if certain maps didn't stalemate enough already without airblasts, snipers and spies interupting ubers. Didn't Valve learn their lesson with the cow mangler, a weapon with 5 pro's and no negatives is bound to be OP. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

doesnt that technically count as dying? if you force an eingeer to use that emergency teleport and zap back to the spawn, its pretty much just killing him anyway, sicne he has to walk back from the spawn to where he wants to be

Just seeing those Engie weapons makes me question whether I'll actually want to play TF2 at all for the next few weeks.

Only if you're on instant respawn servers. It's a wrench that also allows you to teleport back instantly so he has shorter walking times total if anything.

They found a way to make wrangled Lv3 Sentries on last points even more powerful while making it even more boring for the Engineer himself and his enemies, haha. Going +m1 and only pressing m2 when under attack to instantly rebuild again is great, 2fort will surely be played more now, by Engineers.

Also? A crafty Spy actually made it to your spawn and sapped the teleporters, after a minute of careful infiltration. Let's just hit m2, shoot him and use the teleporter back to our nest! :thumbup1:

eureka could be good if it was 2-3 seconds to activate, if <2 seconds it's gonna be just as lame as bonk

new engy primary is horrid, playing medic was just too enjoyable right

phlog might be decent, in the end isn't it just a killstreak?

third degree might be hilarious, but too UP. market gardener is hilarious and it's actually useable, this doesnt seem usable.

manmelter. meh rewarding extinguishes, very lame. it might be cool if it was like airblast (so it'd work well with the phlog).

also i have a theory that the foundry map was created just so 5cp's would have some epic finish. im thinking every cauldron explodes in the map or something.
