Bue Team "I tell ya boys, we're going to be rich, rich, rich! We found where those dirty Reds have been getting their gold from! Let's go get the gold!"

Red Team - "Those blue bastards are at it again!! They want our gold? No F'in way!"

Goal: Blue has to get the full gold cart at the bottom of the canyon to their waiting getaway dump truck. Red has to stop them.

Setting: Map is set in late afternoon, so there are different lighting conditions outside and dark conditions inside the caves. There are four stages to overcome.

Specials: Two mini-ctf style game play sections in the map. One demolition sequence to blow up a barricade. Death carts travel around the map on a random basis try not to get run over. Two dancing demo, pyro and heavy take a boat trip. A drunken demo after a picnic.

Let me know how you like this version - Thanks! :)

Hey, it looks like you've already made a thread! (And the original one right here!)

If you be so kind as to update the original thread with your changes and not create a new thread every release that would be great. You can bump your original thread up whenever you update (just post in the thread).

Thanks.

Right I do have that one, and changing the original post IS my preferred method of doing it - can you tell me how to do it?

I was looking at it last nght but all I can see is the edit button - but it won't allow me to do anything but change my comments. I can't change the title, or the pictures for some reason, or anyhing else.

I think it might be a browser issue - for example:

At work, where I do most of my posts, I basically have to navigate the site via the tab button and pressing enter - although rumour has it they might be giving us IE8 soon - but they tols us that back in January too :p The screen is also a dark gray colour.

At home the site is yellowish (firefox-most recent version), the layout looks completely different different but I still can't see any buttons that allow me to do more than just edit a post.

Where am I going wrong?

If you like, I can fix it when I get home.

Yea, at the bottom right of the release page you will see an EDIT button. You might be on the old skin of the site, which you can change at the bottom of the main homepage.

If you can't find either of those, shoot a PM to drp, he can check and make sure all your permissions are straight.

Thanks for the info - I really aprreciate it - I HATE doing multiple posts on the same issue - makes me look like super troll or something.

Can you clarify the release page for me just to make sure that I'm on the right page - I've seen the edit button in the location you talked about and have presed it (only allows me to do a post like this one - hence my multiples - lol).

What skin indicates, old or new? Is the New site the dark grey or is it the yellow one?

I'll check out everything again when I get home and send of a PM if needed - thanks for the help :)

Ok, I got it now - there's a difference between the post you make to start of the showcase thread and the general posting system. If you click on the original post then you can go in and edit you original upload. The other edits I was doing was just doing the regular postss.

Now that I have it figured out, what would you like be to do? Go back and edit those so everything's together and delete this thread or just leave it as it is and keep my new found knowledge and update this version if I do a B3?

Thanks.

Yea, go back to your original thread, update that thread. When you do that, I'll clear this and the other one done.

For future updates, just update that single original thread, just reupdate the images, say when you updated by adjsuting the date... and you can just make a post in the thread saying "Hey, I updated to b3... here's the changes!)

It worries me for optimization sake that you have waterfall made out of tons of rock props.
Also, get new minecart model, the one you have right now looks horrifying.

in general, you don't put the update number in the main title, youjust put the nameof the map, and in the changelog section, you put the B1-1

Thanks that's really godd advice for the next time :)

Just put the main headline of your map into the Post heading and then use the title on the page to tell people what version you're on.

Are you able to delete the old b1-1 title and make it just pl_gold_heist_canyon then?
