Glowing light - Sprite inside model doesnt show

Hello.

Im trying to make a glowing light bulb using the "models/props_lights/hangingbulb.mdl" model, and i placed a sprite with "sprites/glow01.spr" inside it to make it look like its glowing, but you cant see the sprite unless its outside the model. Is there a way i can make it visible while inside the model?
