Right, so, if your anything like me you realize that the Occupy (city) movements are not well-thought out and they will tear America apart if they succeed.

They stepped over the line with this:

https://sites.google.com/site/the99percentdeclaration/home

they wish to hold an assembly that will make demands of politicians that will deface and destroy our country.

The 53% needs to do something, I propose our own declaration, in which The American's living The American Dream state the same things stated in the original Declaration of Independence:

  1. Grievences against The American People
  2. Unalienable Rights we've been denied
    Specifically:
-The Right to Keep What Money you Earn without fear of armed men coming to your house if you don't pay said money (this excludes a contract made to a person or business in which the contract EXPLICITLY states that this behavior is allowed (by the police) if you do not fulfill your half of the contract)
-The Right to Create a business where and when you want
-The Right to Make Your own choices*
-The Right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness**
  3. What will happen if we don't get said rights

*As long as said choice doesn't affect another's pursuit of happiness/prosperity
** --THIS MAN WAS GIVEN NO TRIAL AND HAD TRULY COMMITTED NO CRIME, HE WAS JUST A SUSPECT AT THE TIME-- http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...rack-obama-is-right-to-kill-u-s-citizens.html

I know many of you are EU and are probably saying "I don't give a crap about the US," but it is my personal belief that all should be allowed in if they do not have a criminal record, and if they can/are willing to speak/learn English

Thoughts?

I might not agree with all the stuff Occupy Wall Street movement is trying to get across, but those people are nowhere near retarded, don't throw insults just because you disagree with their cause.
Also, this said movement is nothing new for EU people, the riots are here too.

I stopped reading at 'tear america apart'.

Make your grievances heard, but please lets keep the fear tactics to Fox News.

Was just voicing my opinion on it. Sure, it's fine that he posted. I still hate seeing it, though. Mostly because nine times out of ten it does devolve into a shouting match.

I'm kind of wondering what you're actually trying to say. The points of interest I found in your post were basically "they'll tear America apart" and "they'll destroy America".

Which I didn't find helpful.

well someone's been listening to too much generic anti-occupy propaganda

and what do you mean "the 53%", are you even old enough to pay any taxes yet

do you know what the 99% movement is about? do you know who started the 53% anti-movement? a friendly gentleman called Erick Erickson:
“I would like to point out to these people that I work three jobs, can’t sell my house in this economy, still am paying massive student loans, and somehow or another do not blame Wall Street for my situation,” Erickson wrote in a post on Red State. “In fact, I’m one of the 53% — the 53% of Americans subsidizing these people so they can go hang out on Wall Street to complain.”

“Get a job hippies!” he added.

One of those three jobs Erickson mentions is CNN contributor.

the entire point of 53% is just to distract and make the 99% supporters look stupid by downplaying the reasons of the worldwide protests. it's not hard to see considering its name is based on the statistic that 47% of americans don't pay income tax, which is probably even true but completely ignores e.g. payroll taxes, state, local, sales and excise taxes.

all they say is "stop whining" and "deal with it", the majority of them even admit there are huge problems but like to feel superior by insulting complainers

You lost me already. These movements have been a long time coming, and based on what I know about your age and your life experiences (especially college/post college/employment + unemployment) tells me you don't really understand the point of the movements. I'm under the impression you'd have a very different opinion if you were in another place and time in your life.

I can't even spend enough time writing a serious post about this before I get so frustrated with the base level of stupidity shown by the creation of this topic that I want to veer into a parody post about how fucking stupid and uninformed the entire 53% movement is. Congrats on being 14.

Not to mention that your ignorance of European policy is so extreme that you can't find a reason to expect them to be interested in whether we fix our fucking country or veer into the abyss? Come on.

i don't know, there is a pretty clear space between "friendS" and "are." doesn't look like he added the S when he forgot languid.
