How the heck am I supposed to get this shape.

So, I have a small room with somewhat arched walls like that. Those walls were easy to make. I'm all bright in chipper an say "Ok, now it's time to make the diagnal ones" and realize I have no clue how. I've spent like an hour messing around with clipping, vertex editing (which works, but leaves glitchy walls that can only be seen from one side) and rotation, but just cannot get a diagonal version of those walls. Since it's not on one of the straight angles, I really can't do much to it with the clipping tool. Any advice on how I can get walls to fit these gaps.

That won't work. They're not the same length and the correct length is not snapped on any reasonably sized grid. Not to mention I'd still have to make an impossible shape for the corners, and they won't even fit against the sides of the roof (They're not at degrees of 15 angles, and even if I take that off I can't get them to line up).

You could make the entire thing off the grid, then use that program (I don't know where it is) to convert the brush into a model and try that?

I know I saw something similar on the SPUF SDK forums.

Propper
It's currently broken since the manniversary update however.

If you're trying to get a 45° version of your arch it should be a relatively simple matter. Use the transformation tool to rotate exactly 45° then use the vertex tool to make sure everything is at the right dimensions without messing up proportions too much, and back on grid.
If the vertex tool creates invalid solids it's probably because you're not keeping stuff aligned properly where they should (and end up creating convex brushes).
