Yo folks,

we recently started a group that does late-night doublemixes (6v6 games with 12 random people) on custom maps under develpment (usually)
So if u got a map made with the competitive community in mind and want non-theoretical feedback on it; give us a shout!

(do bear in mind however, that we play 2maps on average/night and that there's a shiiiiiitload of maps to play)

Cheers,

Pinky

you could try comp version of Namicott, my koth map with moving CP. it's being tested by waxpax, already having survived one test rather successfully, but i think getting a test with another group will be beneficial.

dl link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9180221/TF2/koth_namicott_b7b_comp.bsp.bz2

note that the intel pointer i have there will be removed in future versions, i'm just not making a new version for now until waxpax tests it at least.

Heyo, good to see some more testers out there.

You may already have my maps, but if not all three of these are in the current esea poll, with standin likely to get into esea next season.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3492731/standin/cp_standin_b2.bsp
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3492731/revenant/cp_metalworks_rc1.bsp

Feel free to add me on steam, I'd love to get any demos from playtests.

All three of 'em are going to be played somewhere in the next week. And I think it'd be best to make an etf2l thread for your maps, as people generally can't be fucked to post feedback anywhere else (or u could add me/Crashsite) + people on etf2l that aren't in this group'll never look at the maps if they're not on there

Do you mind playing an A/D map? If not, I almost have CP Mojave B2 ready which I would like to try in a 6v6 again.

If it's Gpit style, possibly; dustbowl style, not really :>
Generally people dislike A/D.
I'll download mojave though and if it looks really good i'll bring it up anyway

hey, i checked out the etf2l thread and you have the wrong namicott in the mappack list there. b7a was deemed too small and heavyfriendly for comp, use b7b_comp that i linked in my post above. the map has a pub and a comp version and pub version doesnt work well in comp and vice versa.

well shit. Guess I'll have to link it seperately when we play it :p (unless there are enough mapupdates to warrant a new map pack in time)
