Looks alright, but the stairs in the second picture look way to steep, and I don't know if this is the map or your graphic settings ingame, but there aren't any shadows coming from the props. It makes it look unfinished.

I got bored and made a quick custom overlay for my map, but I can't get the fading right. I haven't even tried to do the rips.

Someone please explain to me how to do the ripping/tearing and the fading.

Also, bonus points if you get the reference.

theres more weathering on the rocket, and its got properly working red & blu textures.
still no idea why its doing that tronline effect on the shiney parts

woo, got it fixed. for some reason, compiling my model from 3dsmax with a tga of the texture was making it weird. compiling it with a png fixed it. now to work on the normal/specular maps

Thanks for the tutorial link, after a bit of refining I came up with this.

So what if I used Brush Script? Who cares if some of the water splotches disobey physics? What's wrong with having tears in the poster that can't possibly have been made by anything?

Also, making scribbles for water damage and such is very difficult with the mouse. They always come up with some sort of pattern.

@3DNJ, the lighting seems alright, but the one thing that bugs me is the snow on the roofs. You'd think that there would be tapering at the edges to look a bit more believable.

What I don't seem to be able to understand is why the hell you 1) thought that 2) took the time to do such a thing and 3) what you expected from it :/
