Which one of you smucks lives out past the +10k range?
Even the server machine with 8GB of ram couldn't render the full map thanks to whoever lives out there.

What do you guys think about the /home system? Right now if you die, you go to your bed. However the /home lets you TP home, which isn't very survival like.

Currently, yes. A whitelist being added after 1.8 has been discussed, though.

If it's upgraded to 1.8 server, people who haven't upgraded yet (and probably don't want to) won't be able to play.

Umh did 1.8 just release? When I launched Minecraft it has 1.8 in the update list and it asks if you want to update your Minecraft too. :O
