Hi there everybody! A fellow gamer and TF2 fan here!

My name is Pablo Fiorentino, Male, 20, and I'm an Art student, specializing in Graphic design, Illustration and story-boarding, and I'm also a wannabe Sniper and usually forced to play as the Medic, so much that It has become my favorite character xD.

I have tried doing 3-D stuff, but just wasn't my thing, I can make quite decent textures though! So point to the texture locations! Maybe I can give someone a hand with something?

I have also started a thread about a Fan-made TF2 Calendar I'm making! I need some help from the community on it, check it out below:

http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?p=242444#post242444

I'm also the Creator, Artist and Writer of the original webcomic "Monsterful" so if you are feeling a little bored (not that you would, you have TF2! xD), feel free to check out my webcomic here: http://www.monsterful.com/

That would be all I think... Looking forward to seeing cool stuff!

Thanks! Well I used Maya and tried out Blender a bit.

I actually did 3 projects inside Maya, but It's just that I'm a 2-D guy, I like more drawing than sculpting.
Doing textures and shaders (they're supposed to be the same thing right? XD), was really fun for me though (specially since I didn't had to model or rig at all xD).

I also posted a question on the Calendar thread, might as well post if here as well:

Off-topic question: btw I wanna practice my skills as a texturer but I'm pretty new to that, I have only made textures for some basic things and a 3-D lego project, does someone know where I can make a thread for people to requests textures from me? And if there's a tutorial around for the TF2 texturing I'll have it as well xD. Thanks!

I encourage you to try 3D modeling again in whatever program you are most comfortable with. I helped someone who had no idea what blender was about 4 months ago, and now he has a model he made in-game (the Police Helmet for the heavy). Ronin's doing some pretty impressive work right now, too.

For texturing, you might wanna try looking at this amazing guide: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73559

I don't know if there are many people who are looking for textures specifically, but there is a request subforum located here. You may want to check it out and see if people need help with stuff. The most common thing for a texture artist to do is to team up with someone who is a fairly decent modeler but not-so good texturer. Pie_Tony is an example of this. He doesn't model, but alas he has 3 or 4 self-made items because he teamed up with 3 or 4 modelers who let him texture their items.
