I like it Ayes. Should call it the working man. A coat is really too much to wear during a hard day on the job.

I've modelled it after a gambling theme though... >_>
Even have a knife and watch coming soon :p

Yeah, really nice models Gerbil.

But I don't see why you're focusing on even more Demoknight items. Aren't there enough already?

damn, im really getting owned whit the names :p

but perhaps we need more items for other classes, such as the medic or so.
if we keep getting more demoman items, demo's should be able to equip 2 of each thing, just so evrything fits :/ (no offense on the textures, they look real nice! the moddeling too, but demo has a bit too much equipment.)

But the shield replaces stickies so that just makes you really immobile and prone to dying from point blank nade shots.

I said I wasn't going to do it and then I did it. Complete makeover of two capture points again. This time I'm doing it on feedback from playtesting though and I have to admit the first version was a bit flat (and nearly impossible to defend if you lost mid). Apparently getting a lot of points doesn't go well across in 6v6 even when it happens on lots of official maps as well. Not done with skyboxes and stuff yet and have to mirror / add 3 textures on either side before it's ready for more testing, hopefully with less drastic changes.

while everyone is making Halloween gear, Im making a Bonfire Night set for Pyro
firework.jpg

this is the melee weapon

Firstly, theres is no way that that wooden stick could hold the weight of a rocket that large, it would definately snap, if it didn't go up in flames first, make the stick larger and/or metal.

Secondally, that small amount of tape or that small a clamp would not be able to secure the rocket properly, make it go nearly around the full length of the rocket, preferbally mutiple times if it's secured with tape.

Thridly, increase the length and width of the fuse and/or have it tied to the support block, that way it will be more notiicable.

Fourthly, and this is just me, judging form the sharpness of the nose cone, and the posistion it in as it is. I think it would be more dangerous if the rocket was impaled through the block and the nose cone was the "business end".

Its just a it is, the beam is getting in the way of the rocket, so the support beam will the thing that contacts with the target, making the rocket useless, and lets be honest, compared to the axtinguisher or homewrecker, the beam looks barely lethal.

Just my 2 cents.

thanks for the ideas. i definitely want a firework on a stick for this, but reorienting the firework to point in the direction of the swing sounds good. i probably should have mentioned it was a firework and not a metal rocket.
