Hey hey hey

Long story short:
Remember when I didn't stop talking about how I'll make an indie iphone game and then out of a sudden disappeared without anyone caring ?

Welp, I actually went and made a indie iphone game and we released a beta version of the game last week :D
Basically there's bombs dropping from the sky and you have to tap these as fast as possible. There's special items, combos and achievements, the whole package :D

So I thought, hey why not post this in here too, maybe someone is interested and wants to test it out, too.
Or spread the word and help us get rich and famous :D

Since I think that the youtube function was disabled, here's only a link to the gameplay video
You should check that out, since it better shows of the game than a couple of screenshots:

Also we are huge fans of giving insight in the development of games and therefore constantly try to keep our blogobody in shape.
If you have any questions, shoot it at me, I'll try my best to answer these !
If not, just be sure to buy the game, still :D

How to sell your game to masses, lesson 2: Take picture of yourself playing the said game on iphone, while sitting on toilet.

The majority of iPhone games are played while on:

1) the train
2) the toilet
3) the toilets on the train

Looks like i am only person who just plays games with it to kill time and read comics while in bathroom. :eek:hmy:

haha, that was exactly how I imagined the picture to work and take off, but it failed :(
Actually it was just created to prove something due to some weird twitter chitchat between myself and a pretty, yet unknown foreign girl :D

iPad compatible? ;D

Many betatesters asked for an IPad version and while the game so far doesn't have the according HD artwork to it, people said it still worked great, gameplaywise.
So we added the IPad to the list, but unfortunately the inital release will only be IPhone and IPod :)

Anyone wanna join in the betatest ? Obviously you'd need one of the I-devices. Ipad works, just doesn't look as pretty as the IPhone or IPod versions :)

Looks pretty sweet! Nice and simple. :p Personally I'd love to develop for an iDevice but, you know, I need an iPod/iPad, a Mac, an OS devs licence, and...yeah.

Best of luck with this.

Hehe, nice and simple was our goal :D
We made the most progress in terms of polishing when we finally announced the betatest - that gave us a nice kick in the ass !

Yeh one of the devices was really needed, because the programmer always told how this and that looked and felt and played and I could never checked.
So one day I just went out and bought myself the IPod and boy did things change then :D

btw something was wrong with the youtube link, so here goes again. Gotta watch this to get the gameplay idea :)
It shows the 2nd (unlockable) environment. What's pretty cool is that the main menu changes its appearance to the selected environment :)

oh btw, the game is made using Unity3d !

When I think of indie games I'm thinking Magicka, Killing Floor, Amnesia,Torchlight, and Overgrowth. Games that are innovative and trying something new for the heck of it in contrast to the corporate world which just remakes the same game every year.

That's not what I see here, and frankly I'm really getting tired of people riding the indie bandwagon to the bank like this. Sure it fits the literal criteria of an indie game, but what is setting this apart from the other thousands of games out there?

From what I'm seeing, not a whole lot really. The video you posted shows the gameplay as yet another simple touch everything game, and then seemingly out of nowhere the player gets a game over?

If that's all the gameplay your game has to offer that's definitely not going to set your game apart with that.

Otherwise, your art style is nothing that hasn't been seen before way too much in every other casual popcap game, so no points there.

And uhh, that's it :S ?

I'm sorry but I can't find one positive thing in your game, and I can't imagine why anyone would even consider paying for this when they could probably find a hundred similar flash games to play for free all over the internet.

Do you guys have a testflight account ?
If not, we can send you a direct download link to the build.
For the direct link, we'd need your email and UDID information so Blake can set it all up :)
