How do you play games in a console anyway?

Console gamers must be bored out of their minds.

So i've must been late to the day when pc gaming died.

I can’t remember if I cried
When I read about his widowed bride,
But something touched me deep inside
The day PC Gaming died.

So Bye, Bye, mr keyboard-mouse guy.
Hit my Razer with a laser, and the Razer did fry.
Those console boys were drinking from Xbox live
Singing this'll be the day that n00bs die.

Actually I dont beleive it was ever dead or near death. You just have a bunch of people who prefer consoles because they beleive that the price of PC's are as Pc world suggests instead of what we all know, which is that anything PC World sell you for £1000 can be built for £250 and can be built by someone else for you for £300.

Last news i heard on the street was STEAM was putting retail stores out of business; yet people still argue that PC gaming was dead?

Rofl. People can be so silly.

I kind of feel bad for my XBox. It only really gets played when something special comes out that I can only play on it. (Like, say, Catherine. Or XBLA games.) Don't even know why I have a Gold account anymore, since I never actually play multiplayer games on it.

No real reason to, when I could get a vastly better (and cheaper, price-wise) experience playing on the computer. Can't really think of anything upcoming that I'm looking forward to on the console, save Mass Effect 3. And the only reason why I'm playing it there is because that's where I started the series on (due to lack of a decent computer that could run it, and that problem's been solved as of earlier this year), and want to take the same save file all the way through.

^Ditto, I only have a few games I'm planning to play on my 360, Mass Effect 3 (because I have my save files on there), Assassin's Creed: Revelations (because I just play Ass Creed on the Xbox) and Gears of War 3 (because it's an Xbox exclusive)

they've obviously hacked intel and stolen the files for Project Offset, and are publishing it as a PC only title!

on more realistic note's:
I bet they're coming out with a line of there own PC.

or

Maybe they partnered up with VALVe and made a console which can play PC all games, is fully customizable and has steam as the software to run it, basically a regular PC with a razer case and Steam operating system.

What I think they mean is the community has died off, it used to be anybody could play a game and anybody would accept that person, but then the term n00b came out and all of the sudden Pub's and Pugs are different, I mean, we're all gamers here, and no matter your skill level, you should be able to have fun with out somebody dropping the F-bomb at you every five seconds!!! this is something that has concerned me for a while. In XBL, I almost never get that (there are the occasional A-hats that are mean to you, but nothing on the level of PC gaming). to think Doom and John Romaro started it all.
