I've been playing in the Team Fortress 2 community since the Spy-Sniper update, though I was interested in the game for some time before that. Since then, I've put up a rather stupid number of hours on the game, and even gotten to the point where I go out of my way to watch players who are far better than me with the competitive scene.
And somewhere along the way thinking about the "metagame" and how the maps play out, I've recently begun germinating ideas for maps of my own. However, I have absolutely zero experience with mapping of pretty much any sort, unless you allow the incredibly simplistic mapmaker the TimeSplitters series offered to be included. I certainly don't have any experience with Hammer, at the least. I figure you guys can help with that.
Who knows if my ideas'll ever be realized, but no harm in at least trying to make it happen. So this'll be fun, aye? :laugh:
