Hi all, I'm here for requesting a "little" thing, a lamp model for my new map.

I'm looking for a 3D model with the texture, the lamp must looks like this kind a candle light :

As you can see, the light reminds the pirates style :)

I'm a mapper for pleasure, I won't pay for this great service but maybe a day my map will be official and ... :^)

Thanks in advance, sorry for my mistakes, I'm practicing english everyday but still hard :D

Bye :)

English is fine.

The Bulletcrop Project May have what your looking for, I know there is a lamp like that in there that is on a post. I believe the swamp pack has something like that possibly?

For requests, it will be a tad hard to get something from someone with no evidence of good map, a lot of people here won't put time into a model unless the mapper has show dedication to maps. But, it is a small model, so who knows.

You can also use the latern001 prop (make sure its prop_dynamic) as a stand in if you need to.

Right, there is a model but there is a fu***** bulb inside so... :D
And the plot under the lamp is annoying :/

Already used, but it won't be enough for an entire map :D

Will take a look at the project, ty.

The swamp pack's lamp and the bulb inside said lamp are two different models. You could use a sprite and the lamp model to get a nice effect.

I'm answering this under the assumption that you haven't modeled before - hence the request:

You could also make the model yourself in hammer and then use propper to convert it into a model - this way you can fit it into your map with the dimensions you need right away.

Propper is very easy to use :)

You can find out about it / download here:

I would suggest watching the youtube video (by rocketrascal34) link at the bottom of the page once - to get the feel of the workflow (of the set up part) then watch it again pausing it while you set up the item on your computer. Once set up, finish watching the program to see what to do to make the model. You'll love the program and it's ease of use.
