That wall is very, very weird looking.

I think the main thing that bothers me about it is how it looks like it just cuts off at the bottom with no natural progression into the floor. Also I can't really comprehend how such an odd texture and shape would have formed.

Yyler, just a question for that window in your pic there is an area portal, did you use the window area portal or just a regular area portal? And is there a difference?

Yes is there a huge difference between these two.

The areaportal will draw uniquely your field of view in the next space.

The areaportalwindow will make an effect of dazzling when you will be far enough of the window, and with this effect of dazzling, the outside of the map will be totally hidden.

Yes, that's pretty odd. Also the stalactites at the ceiling look more like spikes than natural occurring things. The wall should lead up to becoming a spike, not randomly be one.

I love the lighting and the shrooms, though.

In game with all the lighting it probably looks amazing! I wouldn't think he would need to add anymore colour. Thats just my opinion

Not sure what to think about whether it's distracting, but it sure is ugly. :/

Not because it's a bad texture or anything, it's just weird and ugly in the first place.

Development on pl_Offshore is continuing at the speed of a handicapped snail. I just added a scout/demo/soldier route that skirts the first chokepoint. Because I want something to post, here it is.
