So, I'm making a skybox for a map that has no 'sun' so to speak in it, or no origin for light to come in. What do you think I should set my angle options for in the light_env, shadow_control, and should I even bother messing with the env_fog control angles?

No no, its not supposed to have a sun at all. Think pitch black skybox, like new moon sorta night with no stars.

The angle would be best at around 70 degree pitch and whatever direction you want (long shadow would be obviously noticeable, straight down is ugly). Although you can disable shadows entirely with the shadow controller, that can make players look funny without a shadow beneath them.
I'd also suggest trying a sun spread angle of like 10-20 in the light_env to soften out world shadows. However you might be able to get by with just having the regular brightness really low and a high ambient brightness.

Alright. That works for the sky I was going to use for a map.

Got another question, what would you recommend the settings be on an indoor warehouse with no windows?
