Hey everyone, Makar here (Detattol as my user suggests), and I've got a new map for you! it's currently in Alpha stages, and I'm only showing you one base. It's a Mirror symmetrical map, which when complete, will have a frosty cliff with waterfalls, raging rivers of doom, and cliffs to jump off of, oh how pyro's will enjoy it.

I'll update this later today, just posting pictures for now.

In This picture you can see most of the base, and the small "WIP" bridge. The Orange platform on the far left, is a sort of, sniper platform, The flat side on the very far left of it, will be perpendicular to a cliff-side, which is frozen. The cliff has a waterfall coming off of it, flowing into a raging river, which is under the bridge. Also, behind the waterfall is a walkway, creating another way to get from base to base.

Here you see the doorways into the Base, the left one goes closer to the Sniper's platform, while a skilled scout could double or triple jump around the far right side, onto the back cliff area, which you can see in another picture. the doorway on the second floor has a small platform you can stand on, another "sniper" area, if you will.

The Inside of the 2nd picture, you can see the three doors on the left of that pic here. The far right door, goes to a small clearing, much like that of 2fort, but smaller, which goes to the sniper's area.

The small clearing specified above, there is a medium ammo and health box under the stairs. This area will get bigger in the future. The window, top right corner, is near a spawn door, allowing the friendly team to easily get to the sniping areas, as well as head off any enemies.

A small room on the other side of the base, the door far away from the screen is the clearing in the picture above. The snow you see is a block that is going through the floor here from outside, I'm thinking of making the left corner of this room a see through grate, with aligns with the cliff, allowing you to see outside. Scary huh? To the right is the doorway to the stair room, outlined in the next picture.

The Door on the left is the room in the picture above, there is also a door behind the camera, going outside to a cliff side ramp. The stairs going up, go to the second floor, while the ones going down, go to the clearing near the intelligence room.

The outside clearing I spoke of above, that the skilled scout could get to around the building. I may make this impossible in the future. The stair room can be seen, as well as a spawn door, which goes to a rooftop accespoint, allowing friendly members to "drop in" at anytime. An enemy soldier, demo, scout or any other class who could get up there using cheap tricks and ploys could also have this opportunity.The ramp of snow with be more cliff-like later in the game. The room on the far right is the intel room.

These two pictures are of the 2nd floor (I hid the roof so you can see it better), The "small" spawn room is easily seen here, it has the rooftop acces point seen in the second picture. The first picture, top left corner room is the 2nd spawn, close I know, I may change this later, It has the small room attached you can see easily in the second picture, which drops you into the intel room. Very handy.

The bottom of the stairs going down can be seen here, middle of the picture, as well as an entrance to the small room, attached to the spawn room. the ramp up is on the left.

The intel room, not too shiny yet, there are small stairs spanning the room, if you look closly on the wallm, you see them. The small room from spawn is to the right.

Cool idea! But its super blocky, look into displacement. Cool Iddea though I like it

I love the idea, and would love to see the bridge be 'open' enough to allow pryos to airblast other people off.

Help Needed!

Hey everyone, I've spoken of cool cliffs and waterfalls, I'm a good mapper, kinda, but I need a much better one, specifically at displacements. I can't make the cliffs, I'm trying but I keep breaking it. If anyone is interested in helping me, please Ask, I could use it.

The work entails mainly Two cliffs, a raging river with rocks, two waterfalls, and an icy cliff side.

:D

Also, if the work is really nice, I may be tempted to give you a copy of terraria! :D

Hey, I've decided to make the map bigger. In order to due so, I'm making the Map take longer to get to the intelligence, I've added a new aspect to maps, the likes of which isn't in any map I know of so far....

The Aspect I'm referring to, is simply a Room, Which is WiP right now, but The idea, is essentially a Octagonal room, with four walls, 3 open doors, and a closed door that cannot be opened. The room's three exits go to a staircase , which connects to the old "intel" room; The second, goes to a small room, with small supplies such as ammo and small health packets, with a small roof exit, that goes to another tunnel from the old intel room, which may connect elsewhere later, and a tunnel to the actual intel room.

The Room will spin every 5 seconds, and I may block off another door. The room will be a good choke point, and I just can't figure out how to make this dream a reality. Any suggestions?
