Console comands to disable game rules?

I've been trying to take a look at some arena maps just by entering them with the "map" command, but I can't find a way to just walk around freely. The best I could do by scrolling through "mp_" commands was to set "mp_waitingforplayers_cancel" to 1 and then "retry" to take effect (not sure if that command alone did the job). But this made it so that I will win the round as soon as it starts, since there's no more players. (I scrolled through some of the "sv_" commands, but didn't find anything useful)

I googled the forums (search feature was taking too long) and I could only find this thread, which is useful as reference though I'm already familiar with most of these commands. I know most of them are useful for map testing, but what I really need is to disable any game rules there is, so I can be free to test and check on things, or in this case to study other maps by myself.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Well, I tought of that. But I didn't try it since I imagine the bot will eventualy get annoying and distracting... :\ (Even with buddha mode) And maybe the bot will try to cap the point and end the round anyway.

But if all else fails, I will probably be doing that.

Hmm, indeed... that's interesting! I thought a bot would act... like a bot. :) That's useful then. Thanks.

EDIT: And btw, the spec mode wouldn't be useful, unless I changed the spec speed to mimic a player speed (would be sort of another solution, though). But since my goal is to compare distances with actual travel times, rocket/sticky jumps, and such, since I'm more used to hl2dm's dimentions and its related stuff, I really need to walk around and do stuff in the maps I'm checking (including my own).
