Yeah, I struggle to understand what more Google+ has, it seems exactly the same as FB

It's all a bit confusing right now but I really like how it asks you how open you want your information to be as do it. My profile.

Yeah, people were attracted to Facebook because it was like MySpace without being MySpace. Now it's changed enough that people want an excuse to leave it for a site that's like Facebook without being Facebook. I wonder what these people expect to happen a few years from now.

Well I have always resented Facebook's annoying crap. I deleted my first account because it was so full of people being totaly useless and immature. It's the average person's way into being a /b/tard.

soooo this is perfect for me, all the social, none of the bullshit.

yet.

What's the point of a social site that no-one i know has? And, thanks to an invite system, never will.

Don't be so short sighted. it's JUST been released for beta so it's still invite only. It sure as hell wont be invite only when they've ironed out all the kinks.

facebook's privacy settings are fine if you know what you are doing, correct
but it's so arcane and hidden and difficult to use

g+ is really a step up in that regard

i'm not really sure i understand circles; seems like friending someone isn't necessarily mutual? or you end up with a partial friending? i dunno

I've heard it described as something like lists on twitter. You can view status updates of the only people in the selected circle.
