New game mode idea

Hey I just wanted some thoughts on this idea I have. I've had it working for a long time in CSS, but I thought of how I can adapt it in TF2. Basically what I want to know is, would you play it? Would you change anything?

I wanted to bring class specific maps back into TF2, (Who knows, maybe they already exist.) However I wanted all 9 classes to be contained into 1 map.

So after each death match round, everyone switches to the next class, and the process repeats. There is a round timer that is very short to encourage suicidal behavior.

Now I can do this all within a single arena type map, or have 9 differently designed maps all compiled into 1 map with rotating spawn points.

I have have each class be randomly picked, or in order.

Tell me what ya'll think

I'm not sure, but I don't think forcing a certain class on a player is possible. It might be, but not that I know of. You say you have it working in CSS, so I may be wrong.

However, the gamemode does sound interesting, if possible. Honestly it'd be entirely up to you making an enjoyable map for each class to make it work. It has very little to do with the actual game mode idea.

forcing client commands should be able to force class.

Even to start if it went soldiers/snipers rotate I think it would be a blast.

Entire maps of engineers sound not the least bit fun.

This... this is true. Sounds horrifying. I guess half of the fun of TF2 is Class vs. Class dynamics. I'm not sure how this gamemode could be fun, in light of that.

In the cases of Engi VS. Engi, it would either end rather soon or the timer would run out, due to some Engis camping out.

All the other classes should snuff each other out rather quickly, I've played rounds consisting of entirely one Class in the past, and it usually turns into a fine red mist very early in the round.
