It's been sweltering here too but currently it's 5am and today has been a lot cooler than yesterday anyway.

Just noticed a striking similarity in the pictures of you you've posted, dimly lit wearing massive headphones and my headphone here make my hair look like it could be way longer

Yeah it is fairly similar, now that I look at it.

Okay, well, there's 2 hours left and I'm dead tired. I got everything textured, although how well is debatable. I'm fairly happy with this, really. I think this might qualify as my first real Beta map. Haha. :p

Glorious. I'm not sure I've ever been this much "in the zone." I was flat out mapping for the past 24 hours, nothing else. I recorded all of it too and want to make a timelapse video. Just need to find where I can upload 30 minutes of video for people to watch. >_<

I feel like I could of gotten so much more done but unfortunately creative burnout and block stopped me from being able to detail everything. :( Still, it was a nice distraction from my other projects.

I definitely learned a lot about detailing as I went and actually just DOING things in Hammer. And I also learned that Battlestar Galactica is not very good at being background noise. And finally, I learned to overcome my fears and trust again. /cue "I'm Walking On Sunshine"
