Hi there, I came here with my a new fully compete model thats going to need texture, jiggle bones.
Take critics and put them here and I'll try to make it work.

Not to be a stickler, but that's technically a flail, not a mace.

Also, is this a reskin for an existing weapon, a whole custom weapon on its own? I ask mainly because a complex melee like this, with its chain and everything, would instinctively feel like it should have a non-standard attack range.

In any case, it looks good, i.e. like a real medieval flail. This will be very hard to animate, though.

I would suggest making the mace part from two separate objects: a sphere and the spikes. Right now it's all one piece and you have a lot of unnecessary triangulation to have it that way. Also remove the useless edgeloops around the middle of the handle.

Even more technically, it's a morgenstern.

looks cool. I know nothing about modeling but from someone who really likes the cartoony aspect of TF2 visual design I would actually suggest making the ball part much bigger. Not oversized to the point of looking silly, but maybe so that the weapon overall doesn't look so tiny. I would laugh at anybody trying to beat me to death with that pitiful thing :p

still, great job, look forward to your future work.

Technically, he could jigglebone the ball & chain part. Like how for example, the Holy Mackerel, or even like the "Botkiller" weapons. Excellent idea though! :) I agree with most people that the ball should be larger.
