hi bender here,i am downloading TF2 (ETA15hours) and i was looking for a friendly community.I am 20 yrs old collage student .i cannot wait to play the game.

As you might know, this is a mapping community, but i'll suggest you to play the game for some time before you try to make maps. Just about everybody on this site have hundreds of hours in TF2.
And playing the game is the best way to learn what makes a good map =)

We do have bi-weekly Map testing events and most of the time there is 1-2 "impromtpu" events every day! So there is a lot to play, make sure to leave feedback though
