I realize that everyone is probly rather caught up in their own projects at the moment, but still. I wanna at least try and make this happen. I think the easiest thing to do would be a cp map, but if we're feeling really ambitious and/or organized, we can try for a tc map. I have a few outlines drawn for potential maps, but depends on what the gametype will be. If you're interested, just sound out. All ideas/suggestions are welcome at this point. If only a few peeps are interested, we can do a ctf instead. Btw, for those of you saw my previous excuse for a release, I assure that is not a proper measure of my abilites :p So anyone wanna give this a try?

I thought about doing a project like this but was unsure exactly how it could be executed. If you got the plans, I'd be willing to try.

Count me in... would be very interested in behind the scenes sort of stuff. As in... helping maintain and oversee the project kinda stuff... any way you think you may need help... gimme a shout.

as long as you figure out..

1) what style if any will the modulars be in?

2) Will they be optimized allready such as hint brushes or will that be the final assemblers job?

3) how will they all fit together?

What is the performance requirement for each area? How big?

I think the best course of action would be to 'orange box' the map out in it's most basic form, playtest that to make sure it works, then hand out chunks to each mapper.

I'd probably be down, once we flesh out the idea some more.

First orange box the map, than add detail. Optimization is for the last part!

Count me in but somebody has to look that the look of the map stays overall the same.

Well, the easiest way to do that would be to have one person that does all the texturing, one that does the brush building, and so on. Of course everyone would have to agree.

Though I like the idea, it's not something I have the time or skill to do.. Good luck though!
