When I map i'll usually listen to some John Scatman, Occasionally some Anime Songs (God Knows, Motteke Serafuku, Etc.), or even some random crap off youtube.

What do you listen to while mapping?

I used to listen to Dub a lot. Lee Perry and King Tubby are the biggest names in dub. It's like electronical reggae with no lyrics.

I'm really into Daft Punk and Chemical Brothers at the moment though. In the past.. The Toasters, Gogol Bordello, Minutemen, Muggs.. i listened to Muggs a lot (DJ for Cypress Hill).

You're not alone Nineaxis, lol. I've also recently become fond of listening to Age of Conan music. When I'm mapping, I prefer lighter stuff; Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd, Santana, etc. I find that mellow/trippy music helps me design better. When I'm actually playing though, straight up metal and punk rock.
