The areas you are refering to are most likely those that are unavailable to the player... i just couldnt wait with some of the detailing :3Looks like you have huge open areas there and props randomly scattered around. Although it's hard to tell from one picture.

its goldrush's lighting, but i changed the sun pitch so all the canyon walls wouldnt make huge shadows everywhere. its definitely not the final lighting though

What's that a replacement for?
Currently the flaregun. I was hoping Valve would use it for the detonator (if it makes it to the real game).
Update:
If they did, then I didn't know about it.
My original plan was to use a wooden handle (I was talking to SVDL about wooden handles on flareguns and if they were safe fire-wise), but I finally decided against it since it didn't really give any team color indication. It uses the same red color as the flaregun, though.
