im running into a problem with my respawn room visualisers (the red no-entry signs that stop the enemy team getting in the spawn) on my 3-stage payload map. they work fine on the first stage, but when the map moves to the second stage and blue takes over red's first spawn room, they stop working. both teams can see them and they allow both teams through, even though their assigned spawn room is set to blue, which should mean that only red can see them, and they only block red's movement. whats going wrong?

(relatively useless help post)
isn't there something like stage assignment for stuff like that?
maybe you need to make a new one for particular stage or something

Assign it to the re spawn room, but make the re spawn room teamless. It will inherit the team from the spawn point entities within it, which change with the round.

okay, i set the respawn room's team to Any, and it works for the first stage, but when it switches to the second stage, the visualisers for what is blu's new spawn still behave like it is Red's spawn room

Are your func_respawnroom entities properly set up to change ownership after cap?

Do you have A Boojum Snark's Ultimate Mapping Resource Pack?

If so it contains entity prefabs that you can use or analyse. True, it doesn't have a single func_respawnroomvisualizer in the prefabs but I've found that if you just use the prefab and assign the func_respawnroomvisualizer to the correct func_respawnroom they should work just fine.

Failing that, give us a vmf to pick apart.
