BLU and RED thought that the last battlefield sucked so they moved to a new place which rocks! Let the battle begin!..again!

This is my entry for the (A)symmetrical CP map contest. This a 5 control point map.

Compiling with hdr in an alpha or is the cp just that shiny?

Looks like it could do with more detailing. And it is quite blocky. But it could play quite well regardless.

Working on your brushwork a little to make it a bit more intricate could potentially be nice. Nothing to crazy, a few shacks against walls/sloped roofs could help.

It also provides a little cover if you make the wall extension stick out enough. Just use your own judgment on that.

Have you tested it yet? Kind of early to scrap and redo unless you want to go in a completely different direction.

I think maybe you could use a couple tighter spots. (thinner hallways here and there).

Maybe the area under the hill point is too wide open.

But it's hard to say without actually playing it. I think the layout looks decent. Get a play test, see how players like it. Screenshots are good for opinionated guesses, and sometimes even for intelligent criticism,
but in game is the best way to see if it works or not.

the only complaints you got were that it might be a bit flat and it's blocky. Like you said, a1 and blocky, they go hand in hand.

You could add a few stair cases inside some buildings and have windows/decks above to add to gameplay.

Well during the impo gameday The map was quite to overscale and needs to be around 20% less to be more fun to play in. Look at valve maps for reasonable scales

Needs more "stuff" in it, by the way it was a bit too dark in a few spots (almost black looking characters = no good :D )

A2 is out!

Remade the whole map because it was to f**king huge.
So I made it smaller and fixed some better lighting and stuff and changed the theme to a night-hydro thingy theme.
