Cp_parapet - my last TF2 map. After Parapet, single-player is all I plan on doing. TF2 just doesn't interest me anymore, to map for or to play. That said, I plan on working on this map for a while still after my ~3 month hiatus. If, yet again, I find my interest in Parapet and in TF2 waning once more, I will most likely stop working on Parapet until it's interesting again. It's not like anyone really cares, but I'm sorry for the inconsistency and apparent lack of drive; it's just difficult to map for a game I don't enjoy. Oh well, off to gameday I suppose...

Looks interesting, I don't see any extreme sightlines (which is good :p)

Seems to be a bit cramped, which might be because its an indoor map. I'm not sure how well indoor maps play overall, the few I've seen didn't do well (Black Mesa for instance, albeit, because of this its fun)...

Can't wait to try it out on gameday.

looks pretty neat - although some of your floors look like they're lit strangely

When the map is still this early in alpha, I really don't do any lighting; every light source is just a 'light' entity on top of a 128u tall SKIP brush.

Update bump. I haven't added screenshots yet, but I will soon.

Also, a large portion of the feedback during the gameday was the the balcony on the final point that was inaccessible to BLU. To combat this, I added a skill jump, which is demonstrated here:

EDIT: Screenshots are up.

Yes, she lives!

After taking an extended break from TF2 mapping (over a month), I got out of Portal mode and decided to work on Parapet. The result is hopefully something slightly less atrocious than the last version which playtesters BASICALLY hated. There were a lot of height changes and alternate route changes, almost all of which were to the first stage.
