it wouldnt be nice to say i wanted Obama to be dead, it's that i'd rather him not be the president.

I didn't say I thought his dad was racist, just to make that clear. I did figure he thought that based on Osama's Race though.
To say that violence hasn't been perpetrated on women because of Gender throughout history is turning a blind eye.
Sure, we didn't have slaves in this country based on the fact that they were women, but women throughout history in EVERY race by their own race have been oppressed more so than any one race throughout history.
Put it this way, Black Slavery lasted a few hundred years as far as the Americas/England were involved. This doesn't mean they haven't been oppressed before or after, but women have generally been oppressed for thousands of years.
The point I was trying to make was that Obama has had a better chance all along of getting elected over Hillary based soley on the gender ticket. And as I said I think that the powers that be would let a candidate slide on race before gender.
Now we could argue about whether or not the people 'actually' elect presidents or not, but I think we all saw what happened in 2000 and thereafter. If anyone thinks that there isn't someone on high pulling the strings after those events than they must be an ostrich.

I agree with Youme, Obama seems the best candidate, though i am personaly liberal. He does well to please a wide crowd, aye?
