Hello everyone, I made a map, but i used a custom texture in some walls, and then when people download the map on a server, the custom texture is not downloaded :(, so they see the purple walls.

What should I do to put the map on my server and make people also download the texture?

Here's a brief tutorial, I guess.

- Run Pakrat
- Set the directory to your TF2 directory (if you haven't already)
- Have Pakrat open your map
- click the "Auto" button. This should scan your map for custom textures and automatically add them to the BSP file.
- If it actually added the texture, you'll see it at the bottom of the long list of files.
- Save your BSP file.

One question: If I made a texture which is stored in "Team Fortress 2/tf/materials/dasmatze/" , do I need to set the path of the texture in pakrat to "/tf/materials/dasmatze" or "materials/dasmatze" or is the path which gives me pakrat ("Team Fortress 2/tf/materials/dasmatze") correct?

pakrat should give you the correct directory automatically, just hit "yes" and then test it by renaming your materials folder and running your map. (if it worked there will be no purple hell) then just rename your materials folder back to normal after
