This will be TF2maps.net's first texture competition, awesome
The logic behind the theme is that the two tone concrete walls have been a bit overused in maps and it would be great to see some new interior textures that we can use with a bit more variety (note: your textures are not limited to interior)
A few reference images to get you thinking:

Please upload your finished textures (try and keep all your textures together) in the other thread(you'll need to post an in-game screenshot as well as the VTF/VMT files) and post comments and queries in this one thanks.
I think that’s about it.... Get cracking!
- We're going to have a Spytech theme for the first one.
- The deadline is the 23rd of June (That’s a Monday, two weeks from now) that should give you plenty of time to make some suitable textures.
- The textures you submit should be all .VTFs files with the necessary .VMTs as well. You can either use the Photoshop plugin or VTFedit (Due to the availability of these tools I shan't accept anything that isn't a .VMF)
- Please try to keep your filesize respectable, we don't want to bloat .BSP sizes too much after all. (Make sure you choose "compressed texture" when you save using the Photoshop plugin)
- The texture must be made from entirely your own work or royalty free images (that means you can't use any valve texture as a basis for yours)
- What the texture is of is up to you, walls, floors, ceilings its all up to you (except overlays, no signs will be accepted, save them for a later contest )
- The suggested size is 1024X1024 but feel free to make a 'trim' texture or one that fits another size.
- Entrants are NOT limited to one texture only, please submit as many as you can make in the two week time slot.
- The textures must be of the TF2 impressionistic style, noise free, visible brush strokes etc.
- Specular, normal and bump maps will be accepted along side the base texture, they are completely optional because most textures don't need them (make sure you put all the right stuff in the .VMT)
- Please make your directory unique, use your username or something that wont be duplicated eg: "....\team fortress 2\tf\materials\youmes_textures\spytechwall_001.vtf"
