Didn't they abandon it so Hothead could finish up DeathSpank? Shouldn't they be starting it up again now that that's out?

Officially, they abandoned it to pursue other projects. Which means they aren't coming back to it.

Tycho has been writing the third episode and it can be found at the penny arcade site, for those in it for the story.
