Im not quite sure of the name yet... here goes.

Plot: Is there even a plot to Tf2? Haha, who knows. Anyway the plot is sorta like.... red shoot blue with these two cool towers.

Help: I need help with the following:

1. Water... I seem to have made it right... but no splashes or anything of the sort.

2. Lighting... I am using a slybox with one enviormental light and the rest are just light entites. Not working so hot. Half the things turn out black.

3. Doors: There is one door that has a visible Trigger brush that I cant walk through. This has happened to me before. I have no way to fix it.

The black problem is probably that you are using model textures. This got me too, I had to go around and change a few in my project.
Their names start with model or props/wood... Find the one that just says wood...

Kindof reminds me of Orange X map or whatever. A sniper and demo can control the map for hours. I think at very leaasst you needs some tunnels or halls or something so players can move between towers without being headshot every 2 seconds.

Haha, Ironicly, Ive been playing orange_X a lot latley. Yeah, I agree with the tunnel thing... adding it right now.

And yeah, thanks for that with the black textures. That should fix it.

Im purposly making it like that. Why? One: Easy.

Two: Easy

3: Tf2 is a cartoon game so it really doesnt look that bad. Its like 5 year old with legos!

Ok... lemme explain myself then.

This is my 3rd try at a map

1st: BaNaNa_Terror
Looked cool... too many issues.... I scrapped it

2nd: Boooooooooom
2 stage CP map, mine and above ground. Not running as of now, took a break.

3rd: BaNaNa Muffin
I was sick and tried of maving maps that didnt work. This map is a Proof of Concept more than anything. I was seeing if I could actually make a map that runs... and thats what this is. So sorry if its not up to par....

Anyways, running off of 10 hrs of sleep for 3 days for something like that... so if you have consturctive criticim... please tell

Otherwise... buzz off

I'd say if you wanna go for a lego theme make the blocks look like legos. Put little cylinders on top of them.

Put lego blocks out in the open areas to hide behind. Different colored ones... Make walls out of different colored blocks.
You could break up the look of the towers by putting random blocks of colors in the walls. Maybe have some blocks sticking out for demos to hang out on.

Make sure all the cylinder 'pegs' are turned to details.

If done right I think it would be pretty cool. Maybe 'gimmicky' but alot of people like legos.

I just hate sniper fests.

It would be insanely awesome if someone made a lego map and custom player models looking like lego men...

It would be insanely awesome, but wouldn't be TF2 anymore.

That could actually be very cool. the Lego idea... I will do that next.

Btw... I hate snipers, but I love sniper fests. I always play spy and it is SO much fun killing scoped snipers
