Anyone else pick this up today?

I loved the first game because you could build all these crazy levels. However, in LBP2 you can not only make side scrolling levels but cart rasers, shooter, etc. Its the kind of game that creative types (like us) would (and should) be interested in.

Oh and I made a horrible un-boxing video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3N78TpgXwPI

For some strange reason, in a game about content creation, I got bored with LBP really quickly, and as far as I'm aware LBP2 has had a lot less PR and isn't as massive in the ad market, so I don't think it'll go too well for it.

Looking forward to this :D It's a joy to play, I still play the old one. Some levels are a bit odd, though - in the highest rated levels at the moment is a level someone created for their dead dog :/

Isn't out until Friday in UK :( Loved the first, and though I didn't really make anything in it, I did play quite a lot of user made levels, many of which are quite poor. But I read that this has a better rating system and I will probably do a bit more level creating.

I wish it was out for PC....

I don't own a PS3, but if I did, I would have this and Mod-nation racers... and SoTC when it comes out in HD, etc. etc.

(Also, portal 2, becuase you get a PC copy with it too)

Oh yes, I've been looking forward to this game for a long while. I just picked it up today but I barely had time to play it, I'll probably try the level creation as soon as I can though.

Now I just need to get my wireless internet working, or get the TV in my room to not be so anal about HDMI cables, and I'll be ready to play online.

I am in love with first game, the creativity in single player levels alone was amazing, not to mention what community has created so far, going to get this for sure, it seems to be improvement on every aspect, and now you even got more camera angles, gamemodes and bots!

It was a shame that in the first they relied too much on community created content. Not everyone is as creative or imaginative as people like those around here. The game really suffered in the first 6-8 months.

If this ever did wind up hitting PC's(which it won't but if it did) I would be playing this non-stop.
I have been in love with LBP since I first saw it but have never actually got to play it.
Maybe a steam release would "help" with people not pirating it, but sadly I do not have a PS3.
