I've been lurking around this forum now for a year and a bit now, but recently I have only been vising one or two time a month, like a family forgetting about grandpa in the old folks home
, so I've finally decided that it's time to be more involved in the forum rather than just be a spectator. I've seen so many great maps posted that I've decided to give hammer a go, so I have been messing about with hammer over the last two or three months, although I wish I had perhaps read a few tutorials beforehand, but the Valve dev wiki is really useful.
Anyway I digress, I look forward to visiting more regularly and being more involved. There's not really much else to say, unless you want me to say something about my life, but there's not much to say on that front; I like most types of music, from soundtracks to eighties rock to electronic. I'm a typical sci-fi/fantasy fan (across film, television and books) and as well as video gaming I am also partial to some tabletop/board gaming, plus I am particularly enjoying electronics at college.
ANY WHO, expect to perhaps see an early version of my map knocking about sooner or later, I really need to get some feedback, as bots aren't exactly the best play testers in the world (the red team are especially unenthusiastic, it's as if they don't care anymore:huh.
