Awarding points for accomplishing a task

Let's say I have a func_breakable or something. If a player breaks this, can I tell the game to award him a set number of points?

Does it really matter if its a "Gimmic"? I didn't really see the point of that post, Why not try to help him with his question :/?

its simple, he doesn't know the answer, so he tries to hide that fact by being anti-idea :sleep:

And ive done a bit of research...theme is very loosely based, as long as the weirdness level isn't too high you should be fine. Granted the mapping nazi's might complain, but who cares. :thumbup:

Tell me about it. I've identified no less than five different decades of design in 2Fort alone. I mean, Bodoni? In MY 1940s?

You could try to tell the tf_gamerules to do it, there is something about team score in there.

game_score is supposed to allow you to give an arbitrary amount of points to a player. But it doesn't work right in TF2 for individuals, only team scores. Stupid eh?

i only can think off one thing, make an cap zone, in the area wich you can break something, set start disabled, cap time 0.1, when broken activate cap zone, when broken, deactivate capzone after delay off 0.2 secs

I don't make gimmick maps, thats why i don't bother to know the answer or find out the answer; will lead to more gimmick maps for me to pick on and ill get B& for eva :lol:.
