Hey!
This is another map of mine :
it's based around a farm and it will be a 3 cps map.

Actually i've only made the mid-point.
Tell me what you think !

It looks very yellow, doesn't fit Tf2 all that well. Also, it's best not to go to much into detailing early on in development as it is harder to make necessary changes to layout, as well as the fact that you may have to remove some of your detailed areas, wasting time and energy.

Apart from that I can't tell much more from your map.

mmmh, well i think the yellow fits ,since we are talking about a farm map.
And for the dev textures, yeah i use them but i change them just when i finish an area, because i always draw my map on paper before making it,so i always have an idea of what i have to do.

The yellow is too jarate-yellow, especially the lighting. It needs to be more subtle, just a slight yellow hue. Also, the map looks very confined and oddly scaled, but I can't' really tell when you have just one point of a 3CP map with an unknown gamemode done.

I agree the map is a bit too small, if you'll look on TF2 maps you'll see the areas are HUGE, even inside buildings. And I don't really like the place you found for the corn field, it looks like it shouldn't be there. If you'll like to stop players from going that way, do it with a building.
Oh, and one last thing I've learned in these forums is that you should first get a big perspective of the layout of the map before you start detailing - moving all the detail is very hard when you want to change something.

That is not quite true, while some outside areas might be huge (Example Badlands mid or Badwater start) there is not that many huge areas in stock TF2 maps, most of them are quite small or medium sized, take look at Dustbowl or Well for example.

Tough i do agree this map has way too many small rooms.

Let me rephrase that sentence:
If you'll look on TF2 maps you'll see the areas are quite big, even inside buildings.
The areas are not always huge, but they are bigger than real life areas. I ussualy like to put a Heavy.mdl in a map and check with him in sight how big/small a room is. If I can't throw in a room about 5 Heavys then, according to me, the room is too small. But, of course, you can disregard my advice.
