No Portalfile

I'm finishing off a map made by someone else, and I'm optimising it. The only problem is, I haven't got a portalfile, and when I click to load one, there's not one for the aforementioned VMF. Is there a way to generate one or something?

Compile, everything but VRAD off.

Actually, you only need to run vbsp to generate point- and portalfiles

no portal file probably means vis didn't complete. Check for errors.

Knew I was off. Yeah, just check everything but VBSP off. Make sure "Run game after compiling" is also off.
