So, I went to pre-order Assassins Creed brotherhood, due to it sucking on PC ad 360 not having a worthwhile version of steam, and I noticed somethng: the price is same as always, about ~$110 AU. I forget the exact price, and although I'm pretty sure it was about AU $119, I may have been wrong, but I know it was $110 plus. Now, I was just thinking back to a chat I had, and correct me if I'm wrong, but in the US, games are more like $80 US, or something, right? At amazon, It's US $60 when new, and I know for a fact that the retailers HATE competition with lower prices than them, and that's the #1 reason why games on steam that are also in retailers are so F#&%ing expensive.
So, AU $110 VS US$80? That doesn't sound THAT unreasonable, until you realise that the exchange rate hasn't been that shitty for AGES. Take a look at what it is right now.
Any chance that someone could confirm the average retail price in the USA, and maybe the UK as well? I know they agree on a price and don't adjust it for exchange rates, but this looks effing ridiculous.
