So thanks to Loc_n_lol's help, I've got my lights working better. However, I've ran to another problem:

don't worry about the cubemaps lol
As you can see the roof is... black. Very black. I've quite sure that there's no bug or the like except for the fact I just fail at lights at the moment :D Here are my settings:

Brightness: 255 255 255 1400
Linear: 1
Quadratic: 0
Inner (bright) angle: 45
Outer (fading) angle: 65

Everything else is default.
Thanks in advance :D

Well, if you're using a light_spot, the light only points where it shows in Hammer. So if you want to light the roof, use more light or a different kind of light.

The plain light entity is pretty good for general ambient lighting.

You could also look into env_glow (if I remember right) to make the bulb glow a bit which might help enough for what you want to do.

That's what a light_spot does: it shines light in one* direction. You need a point_light up there too, at a low luminance value, to soften that darkness up.

* "Omni" directional lights shine in 6.

The problem was that I had a leak. Fixed it and it works now - thanks anyway for your time =)
