This is an achievement map for the Halloween achievements regarding pumpkins or The Horseless Headless Horsemann. The HHH spawns once every 15 seconds after he is killed. There is no navmesh, so he doesn't move and won't attack you unless you bump into him.
There are also some exploding pumpkins, if you need achievements with those.
Yes, you can get the achievements from this map regarding the HHH. I tried it myself and it works. (I wouldn't post the map if it didn't.)
I do not know if the presents spawn, I don't think so but I'm not sure.

If you've got any questions or if something doesn't work, post a comment and I'll do my best to answer.

You could also use point_servercommand and point_clientcommand to enable cheats, force him to spawn with 1hp, disable cheats, and force users to "retry" their connection to the server. (Use a single bot on map startup to keep the map from resetting.)

Viola, map where users run up and hit him and they get the achievement.

But would that work? His melee range is 200 hammer units. You wouldn't get close enough to hit first unless someone else was there to distract him.

It's certainly possible to get the first hit in, especially as a scout, and as Nerdboy notes you can just add that to the list of cvars being changed.

Also, you can make the func_respawnroom area closely surround the point he spawns at: That way you can always break targeting by stepping back into the spawn, and you can get very very close before he begins to turn around. Another possibility (not tested) is that he might attack similar to a sentry: He needs to see your center of mass. In this case, a very small crack at the right location people to attack him with impunity.

In my case (as BLU on cp_manor_event) I retreated past a certain point towards my spawn, and he lost targeting on me. Since he had no other nearby valid targets, he turned and ran charged back towards the CP he spawned at. I just ran behind and hit him before he could change his mind about his destination.

He doesn't need to directly see you, he just needs to be able to reach you via the nav mesh. He'll chase you around several corners as long as you don't get X units away from him.

I didn't add the mystery gift because I don't know how that works, so I assume that it doesn't spawn.
Here's how I spawned it, this was written by someone else:
You can use an entity_spawn_point and entity_spawn_manager combo and use "headless_hatman" in the "Entity to spawn" field.

Just for the record, "Voilà" is a french word.

This is a viola.

It's most likely hard coded in and nobody's had the patience to look up the entity name.

My friend's server found a way to get the presents faster in the manor, Theres a server_timescale command somewhere (Not entirely sure what the name of it is) and you can change it to 5.5 (Because it takes 5 1/2 minutes to spawn a gift) and everything in the server speeds up, and the gift appears every minute.

Maybe I was imprecise, I mean triggering his actual attack, rather than merely chasing.

Yes, yes, I endured siblings learning to play one. But you're picking at entirely the wrong problem. It is acceptable in English to use the noun "viola" with or without an accent.

The real problem is I made a typo of "voila", transposing the I and O. Unlike the letter transposition, I make no apologies for habitually omitting the accented "A" due to the extra steps required to add it with my keyboard.

Huzzah! Maybe I can get my metal now. If not, >:/

And Terr, neither do I, even though if you break it up into the two words that make it (vois (or voit) la) then there really is no accent, so blame the fools who put one in there.

Goddamnit I meant "Voilà".

You know, a compound of "Vois" (see) and "Là" (there).
