Prop connected to a string?

Hey, could it be possible to connect a prop to a string, and then have it move like a pinata?

I've tried this, right now I have the prop connected to a phys_constraint, and a keyframe_rope is also connected to that constraint. However, it's being reported that it is a "bogus constraint".

I'm going to guess that perhaps phys_constraint has to be connected to something like func_physbox instead. Parent the prop to the physbox so it follows it around.

Heh, i made a map with objects on the end of rope, they also reported this in the console, but there was never a problem in game. The thing worked.

Yeah, but the prop itself is a physics prop. I just want it to move like it's attached to a string.

How did you do it, grazr?

It's the same principle used to lock the bomb cart in payload to the train. Except it's a move_rope instead of a track_train.

Or just watch this and replace the ragdoll with your desired prop.
