Hello there,

After almost a week with brainstorming, I came up with a brilliant new idea. (Based on a game we played at school. :glare: )
But! I can't map! I'm a Mac, and my dad didn't clean up his PC. (Plus, if I want to go on with school, I have to learn things and do less of this kind of stuff.)
So I want to do this with 1 person. Make sure you are good in designing a Spytech indoor map, should be good in making a new game mode, know how to spawn people in other conditions. If you are interested: mail me at danadewaal@gmail.com with as subject "Let's do this thing!". I won't accept people who just say "choose me.", I'd like examples of your work and a quick story and reasons why I should choose you, instead of someone else.

So, will it work? (SourceMod may be involved, if needed.)

EDIT 1: Deleted the Engineer teleporting thing.

EDIT 2: OK, it won't be a quite good game mode, it indeed is quite a variation between Arena/Deathmatch. You may take the idea of Level. But not the map.

on the page it has a very tiny "Save file to your PC: click here" ....like VERY tiny. click on the "click here."

EDIT: As for the actual map idea, sounds pretty good, except i think i found a typo. You said if nobody is in your map, your level will change but the map will not. (Unless i am completely wrong about what i think you are doing, i think it should be, you change maps, but your level stays the same.

No offense, but your first post sounds incredibly stuffy and pretentious. I doubt people will come begging on their hands and knees to help you; it should be you begging, since you are presenting an idea, asking for talent.

Your idea is interesting. Let me ask you if I am interpreting this correctly: There are 3 identical maps stacked on top of eachother, each playing a team deathmatch. Your objective is to get to the top map, and everyone starts in the middle.
Now, that sounds fun to me.

But with your version, you are saying that there are 3 unique maps? The biggest issue with this entire gamemode, is that in a 24 player server, assuming that its split evenly, each level will be a 4v4. TF2 is TEAM fortress 2, and really doesnt work in numbers that small. What if there is 3 red teamers, and one blu teamer. It's not his fault that he got demoted, since it was 3v1. And its not fun to get demoted for something not your fault.

I can definatly see this working, with some tweaking. Honestly, I like you layout, and think it might be good for a standard KoTH map, with the bridge as a CP. Actually, regarding that, how do you get up to the bridge? Spiral staircase (hmmm, I must put that in one of my maps XD)

Not to mention that the mapper cannot control where someone respawns. Its chosen at random from all available spawn locations.
