What do you mean "wat"? People have known this would happen for a few months.
Yes. But #1 was steam wallet + tf2 item purchase with realmoniez. This is not a surprise, people saw it coming a year off.
I wish they'd say when something they revealed was one of the three surprises. So far they haven't really confirmed that either of these things was. This is definitely a big announcement, but it's a lot less of a surprise to anyone who's been following the rumors than the TF2 haberdashery.

Well, if I was ever going to play a DoTA clone, it'd be the one from Valve. We'll see.

I have faith in them, I don't think they have released a game yet that has done bad. Alien Swarm was probably their first step into this type of category and they did very well with that, and what they learned from making that game will only become better in this one. The animations, effects and environments are going to be spectacular. I an really looking forward to this and I was a big fan of the original, but something had to be done to make it better, and here it is... finally...

I'm very unsure at this stage. I was never really a fan or Warcraft-type games (although I did like Starcraft 2) but so far I've liked every experiment that has been done by Valve so far. They have done great so far for the last 10-15 years, so I think Dota will be good.
