I voiced my concerns because i thought it would win. If i didn't think it'd win, why would i be concerned if it played badly?

Hell if I know, I thought you were "voicing your concerns" because you had them, whether or not you thought he would win didn't really cross my mind.

You noticed the significance of me pressing the issue after the submissions had closed but you failed to deduce why that was significant?

It's going to be kind of awkward considering two identical maps with different themes are going official. But really, congrats. It's the most spectacular entry in this contest. Both of you did an awesome job.

Any idea if you get anything? I know you both have community weapons already, but anything else? (Money?)

Congrats for the contest win, you deserved it well!

Anyways I think they'll handle the two maps similar to the two versions of koth_harvest, whereas one is like an event map for halloween, while the other one is the standard version.

I was more asking whether I should wait for it to be in the game, or if I should go with the version you submitted, as I was unsure whether you'd be changing anything.

And I don't remember yesterday at all. So I don't remember our conversation very well. No wait, I don't remember it at all, I only remember that I did in fact talk to you. The contents of the discussion are completely gone.

Fair enough. Please go through the version linked in this thread, whilst there are changes upon this version, nothing is major.

EDIT: I'm less interested in high jump clipping spots and more interested in running against wall clipping spots, as usual.

You should put a playerclip so I can walk straight onto the fireplace - it looks short enough to walk up, but it requires a jump.

The wood paneling all along this wall, and really throughout the mansion, can be walked on. Don't know how important that is to you. It's a small thing, but thought I'd mention it.

When i walk from this roof to that platform, I often bump into the wood support to the right of the platform. Clip that wall so it's a smooth jump, and so I don't fall down and get frustrated.

If I sidle the wall, I can get stuck where the opening is.

Turn on DW and clean up this rocky area. A couple places, like this corner near the top of the ramp, aren't walkable though they appear to be.

Like in most Artpass maps, you're able to cap while standing up top. May I suggest shortening the height of the cap area so you can't be up there and cap?

If I sidle the wall from right to left, I slow down as I meet the window and slowly go up a couple units out the window. I'm assuming you have an angled playerclip brush that might be 46 degrees or greater.

At B, This paint can is solid and annoying if I'm running against the wall and not looking.

I can jump onto that angled piece of wood/it prevents me from sidling that wall on the outside.

it looks like I can walk up that but I can't. Some places you can walk up the concrete, others you cannot. Move the displacements around a little to allow walking from all sides.

At B, on this shack, you've got what seems to be the playerclip from the room below sticking through the roof.

We've played this a ton over at The Lion's Den, a CA based server/group. What everyone complains about is the lack of signage in the mansion. I hope you add some. The rest of the complaints about it are Valve's fault.
