design suggstions

Epic brainstorm follows -->

Love:
* The ambient lighting
* Parts of the map that come out of the sandstone structure and you see parts of the desert (is this the skybox?)
* Overall theme and large-scale design, excellent!
* Wooden scaffolds (more wooden structures please!)
* Underwater fighting FTW
* The creative spawn doors

Would like to see improved:
* Lack of detail regarding props (more foliage/wooden structures?) and small-scale level design (eg. long/boring, uniform hallways that lead to the more interesting parts of the map). In short, i can tell you didn't spend much time on designing some of the hallways or corridors connecting two distinct places
* Some places seem sorta genric and square-ish or too large (maybe try making claustrophobic tunnels made out of some other material...as if someone tried to break through the walls at some point and raid some treasure?). I remember the cracked wall that leads to the underwater point, but this seemed like it was placed sort of randomly with nothing really interesting or eye-popping surrounding it.
* Some things seem too large to fight properly from (i wanna climb on shit!)
* Would really like to see more foliage (right now its just like water, wood, and sandstone. Maybe try incorporating a garden/natural foliage around the water? eg Reeds, lillypads, cactus?)
* Ambient noise, maybe there is some, but didn't notice much when i was playing on a full server? (Mysterious noises near creepy places in the map?)
* Elaborate/funny traps that are easy to be lured into and end up killing you...lol
* Some variation in brightness of the lighting besides inside and outside lighting (a DARK tunnel/shortcut)
* The last point isn't all that great....i mean its just a regular cap point. Even something like a endlessly deep pit of death with huge impaling spikes at the bottom would be really amusing

Not to undermind your hard work here (i've had my try at mapping...lol). Keep up the great work though! I like what i'm seeing so far, it has a lot of potential :)
