I am just a little bit excited.

EDIT: these are from late last week apparently.

Huh I'd have said those heads were kinda big, bigger than I was expecting anyway.

Either that or the people making them all have small hands.

If those are the base plates, those heavies are going to be massive. It's a shame if they're too expensive for me to get one. :(

Yeah, they're quite big.

If it's taken then 5 odd months to finish the Heavy its going to be years before we get all 9. :\

I think the heavy has taken ages due to it being the first one, though I might be way off.

Either way I look forward to receiving mine soon.

Eep! $250, which is going to be about 50% higher here in Sweden. I still think it looks awesome but I think I'd rather have a smaller set (6-8"?) with all nine classes.

I took this picture back in July while on an ultimately-disappointing visit to Valve's front-desk.

Sorry for the blur, but hopefully it gives an idea how it's colored and the size from the blue "credit-card" sized things nearby.

But theres no guarantee they'll ever make them smaller, so if you don't buy these you might never get TF2 figurines again. :p

I guess that's the risk I'll have to take to not have 9 figures the size of my computer standing around my desk.

Sadly, his neck is a bit long, and the blue isn't the right color...and I'm sorry about your disappointing front desk visit, Terr.

You know they've got those 3D printers you can print layer by layer a 3D item...would make an extremely accurate cast/mold type process, instead of taking a chance with someone's disproportionate sculpt...but what do I know anyway about figurines? (not very much)

The first pic in this thread is incredibly disturbing.

Valve isn't the one making them, but that's sorta what I thought when I saw it...
"do I see low paid asian workers? and they cost that much? glad I didn't buy one..."

Spoiler: Almost everything you own was probably made by low-paid Asian workers.

Have a nice day.

Don't get smart with me. I'm well aware of that. The point of my statement was the huge price on these is obviously not going into the hand labor required to make them. The profit margins on things like this are ridiculous.
