A straight forward ctf map set at night. The map is actually well beyond an early alpha, but since i have not finalized the layout due to limited testing it is at A6.


Some of the features people seem to like so far are the train in the subway area, the shooting range and the center area. The map is fully playable all entities are in place. Upcoming work will include tweaking the layout if needed and hard core detail and light work. Oh, and make sure to take notice of the sign boards ;)

things to note in this version...

only bare minimum clips are in place.

Looks interesting. Not a huge fan of the coloured lights, the big car poster (doesn't really fit with the TF2 art style) and the speaker monitors (lolwut) but on the whole it looks pretty tasty. By the way, if you want layout suggestions it helps to post a top down view of the map so people can do paint-overs with their ideas. ;)

Also, good name. :)

thank you for the input. I agree on a fee of the points you made, the poster for one. The goal is to make it look like advertising in the subway area. I came up with a better idea for that and will give it a shot next version. Also, i will post a top down as soon as i am able, thanks again for the input.

Just to be clear, ads about cars are (probably) fine, but that particular one doesn't fit the TF2 style, especially since it's for an actually car. However, a lot of people here make great posters, so maybe you can request one.

Disturbingly, that ad is one of the standard ones available in Hammer. I'm afraid to ask whose map we have to blame for that. Or the Lost Continents one opposite it, which is the name of a clan IIRC.

Also, the Chairman ad would be a suitable replacement.

Changes for Beta 1

* Removed all the colored lights
* Added computer console sprites
* Continued work on the detailing
* Adjusted the timing of the train
* Added in all of the player clips
* Fixed the bug with the blue resupply cabinets
